Limited Edition A4 print from the Spirit of Kaidan Tarot deck. The Hermit is Yatagarasu (three-legged Crown/Raven) which inhabits the sun. The three legs of the bird represent heaven, the earth and humanity with the crow itself representing the sun.

The Spirit of Kaidan Tarot is a mostly animal tarot deck based on creatures and ghosts from Japanese folklore. My prints represent some of the Major Arcana and are illustrated in ink and watercolour and printed onto textured watercolour paper in my home studio.
